Covid-19 Pandemic:

As we know personally, and all to well, we are still living with COVID around us. Obviously, natural and man-made disasters have strong effects on our entire population - from those who have personal experiences, to family members, to hearing about it on the news, we are all affected.

Keep these things in mind to be your safest and healthiest:

  • Pay attention to the medical experts. A medical pandemic is not political.

  • The medical experts say that we can be a carrier even if we have no symptoms.

  • Give yourself permission to turn off the news. An hour a day is plenty.

  • Worry is not an action.

  • Staying away from the public can be your safest decision when you are not feeling well.

  • Replenish yourself through fun, safe outlets.

  • Build your own ideas in new creative ways - writing, drawing, dancing…, It won’t be a waste of time.

  • Keep moving your body - buy a hula-hoop and a jump rope…

  • Say those nice things you are thinking but don’t always have the courage to speak out loud.

If you have to work in public, be your safest. I thank you for your service. If you are having financial problems I hope you are able to take advantage of what your community is sharing. Go on the neighborhood and community websites and please reach out. You can give back to the community when you are able. We are all in this together.
